The Studio Display is the first consumer display designed by Apple since 2011.

It offers great features, but reviews point out some flaws.

One of the main critics for the current Studio Display

is the impossibility to adjust the height of the screen with the default stand. This new concept allows the user to set the height with a hidden mechanism.

Another improvement could be

adding the possibility to rotate the screen around or to swivel the screen at 90 degrees.

When placed on the MacSafe, the device will link automatically and share display over WiGig. Some devices can trigger a specific mode, like the new MacBook Pro Duo which displays a dedicated UI optimized for touch screen.

A dedicated UI for dedicated needs.

The Touchscreen of the MacBook Pro Duo can display to help you in your daily tasks. It can handle multiple workspaces depending on the activity you are doing. It can change the workspace by itself. For instance, if Siri detects that you are working it will display the "productivity workspace". But if you stop working, it switches to the "relax workspace" displaying Apple Arcade and Apple TV+ shortcuts where you can resume your last game or TV Show.

iMac, iMac Pro, Cinema Display.

This design can be declined in several versions. Aluminum and Stainless Steel, or Plastic and Aluminum.

The iMac version is made of Plastic and Aluminum. The Plastic is limited to the moving parts.
